MILLICENT AGBOKA
Millicent Agboka is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants ACCA with over 25 years work experience in various disciplines in the financial industry specializing in International Trade, Payroll Administration, Treasury Management, Internal Auditing, Financial and Management Reporting.
She is an entrepreneur and a co-founder of Project One Million. Her passion for humanity and helping people succeed drives her work as the co-founder of Project One Million, a community based non-profit organization dedicated to bridging opportunity and resource gap in education and ensuring menstrual equity. As a longtime fashion and beauty lover, she currently manages her own beauty supply business.
Prior to the above, Millicent rose from the position of Manager Trade to the Unit Head, Foreign Operations at UT Bank Ghana Ltd. Until then, she was the Accounts Manager in charge of Payroll administration, and staff welfare management at UT HOLDINGS LTD. Millicent also held the position of the Accountant in charge of UTFSL Germany, where she was responsible for the financial operations of the company. She also worked at Unique Trust Financial Services Ltd (UTFSL) as the Accounts officer in charge of the company’s loan portfolio and trade services. Before then she served as a Branch Accountant at UTFSL, Kaneshie Branch.
Before her UT experience she worked at Tractor and Equipment Ghana Ltd, now Mantrac Ghana Ltd, from 1998 to June 2005. She left T&E as the Accounts Payables supervisor.
Millicent has benefited from several mentoring and leadership programmes throughout her career. As a result she developed interest in being a mentor and over the years, she has assisted many young adults in charting fulfilling career paths.
